Jamie Fascinato

Jamie Fascinato is an emerging artist in Toronto graduated from Ryerson University’s BFA Performance Dance program. Coming from a rigorous ballet, modern and highland dancing background with the Owen Sound Celtic Dance Company under the direction of Sheila Milne, Jamie competed around the globe. Her top rankings include, Ontario champion, 2nd in the Canadian Interprovincial Championship and 4th in the World Highland Dance Championship in Scotland.

Jamie not only loves the art of dance but also plays the trumpet, french horn and piano, playing in jazz band in high school. Through the combination of her love of dance and music she has also delved into the musical theatre and dance theatre world. Bringing her to take many voice and musical theatre, acting and film classes.

Jamie has had the pleasure to work with many fabulous choreographers such as Tori Mehaffey, Robert Glumbek, Matjash Mrozewsk, Alysa Pires, Frog in Hand’s Colleen Snell, VIM VIGOR’s Shannon Gillen, Hanna Kiel and many others. Through working with these fabulous Toronto and United States artists, it has opened her eyes to the many vast possibilities the arts have to offer our bodies and minds as well as the stage.

She is so pleased to begin her career as a teacher to share her knowledge and love of the arts with the developing, beautiful minds of the Harmony School of Dance and Music.
