Nicole Byblow has completed her Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 9 studies in piano performance and is a graduate of the Berklee affiliate Selkirk College Contemporary Music and Technology program (Nelson, British Columbia). Upon graduation from Selkirk College Nicole was one of only twelve musicians in Canada to be presented with the prestigious Fred Sherratt Award (Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences/MusiCounts).
Among her career highlights Nicole counts performing at the Juno Awards Industry Gala, performing at CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio and working as a musical director at the Toronto Fringe. She has spent the last few years in Toronto working as an accompanist and musical director for dancers, musical theatre performers and theatre troupes. In the years prior to this, Nicole has recently released two albums and toured across North America.
Nicole loves the quick pace, improvisational demand and unique student personalities found at Harmony Dance and Music. She has enjoyed subbing for Miss Charissa’s classes for the past two years and is happy to be joining the Harmony team as a regular pianist.
